Key Aspects of Faith

Confidence & Trust:

It is the “assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1).

Active Commitment:

True faith involves placing one’s life into God’s hands, not just agreeing that
He exists.

Relationship-Based:

It is the means of having a personal relationship with God, allowing individuals to receive His grace.

Beyond Logic:

It is often described as belief based on spiritual evidence rather than scientific
proof, though not necessarily contrary to evidence.

God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is
what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘l am has
sent me to you.’”

(Exodus 3:14)

Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. [alt is hard for you to kick against the

to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus
reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little
faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” And when they
climbed into the boat, the wind died down.
