CALLOUSNESS/HARD-HEARTEDNESS:

A LACK OF EMOTIONAL RESPONSE TO WRONGDOING.

NOT OFFERING REGRET.

ENDORSING THE NEGATIVE BEHAVIOR RATHER THAN REGRETTING

A Change of Mind: Repentance (Greek:metanoia) literally means to change one’s mind, which results in a change of action.
 
Turning to God: It is an “about-face” turn from sin and self toward God.
 
Required for Salvation: It is closely linked to forgiveness and essential for salvation, as emphasized in (Acts 2:38 and Acts 17:30.)
 
Bearing Fruit: True repentance is shown through action and changed behavior
(Luke 3:8).
